Electric Art Creates Toyota Brand Campaign
Electric Art joined forces with UK based typographer, iLoveDust, to realize Saatchi & Saatchi LA’s important brand repositioning campaign for Toyota in the US. Creatively working together, 3D typography was constructed from various materials appropriate to the copy and the brand. “Efficiency” was rendered from a gas pump and hose, “Dependability” was rendered from jumper leads, “Safety” was rendered from air bags, “Longevity” was rendered from stone, “Precision” was rendered from hi tech specialized tools, and “Innovation” was rendered from circuit boards. Electric Art worked with Creative Director Ryan Jacobs, Art Director Joshua Gilman, Art Director Michael Gurman, Account Executive Cody Ryder, Art Producer Cindy Rowe, Print Producer Lisa Stevens, Print Producer Rachel Dallas-Nobel, Typography 'ilovedust', Pre-press Primary Color, and Outdoor Printer Metromedia Technologies.

Electric Art Creates Burlington Coat Factory - Baby Depot Campaign
Cramer - Krasselt in Chicago delivered a challenging brief (for their client, Burlington Baby Depot) to Electric Art- create a realistic yet non-threatening world where a pregnant woman is besieged by choices. All had to look totally realistic, yet not resemble any known brand too closely. EA became involved from the very beginning of the project, as each space required a look and lighting that was conducive to the product but hung together as a campaign. Initially EA roughed out the space using 3d figures and rough particle system indications of the objects involved, so that perspective, camera angle for talent, size and amount of objects could be determined. Once this was determined, whole sets of baby car seats, baby cribs had to be designed and modelled by EA with a multi-staged approval process attached to it. Once approved, the objects were placed using massive particle systems with varying degrees of randomness for realism and natural motion, then rendered into place. A lengthy and tedious retouching process then followed, with lots of individual placement and alteration of objects placed in each scene.

New Work Sullivan & Lane
It takes a special kind of alchemy to conjure this thing called "art", but left in the hands of the two creatives wizards at Sullivan & Lane, it may be a practical matter of skill-as-well talent. Photographer Brandon Sullivan and illustrator Kyle Lane are transforming the art world with their unique visual form that combines the most crucial aspects of each of their distinct talents, making an altogether distinct and innovative style now fervently referred to as "fotostration".

New Work at ELECTRIC ART
Electic Art 3D - 'Kit Kat Melt' for Kit Kat
These carefully crafted images are a delicious combination of 3D,
photography and traditional model making. The wafer of the product
was created by a model making. The wafer of the product was
created by a model maker and shot in house at EA, with the specific
shape of the melting chocolate created completely in 3D. Careful
attention was required by the photographer to match lighting on the
wafer model to that of the virtual environment, adding to the realism
in the picture perfect confectionary seen in the final result.
Sean lzzard - "Eagle" for Olympus E620
A delicate balance between realism and a clear vision of the main subjects was
carefully crafted in this series of three very different images for the new Olympus
digital camera. Many hours of fine detail retouching employing expertly shot ice
by Sean Izzard resulted in these images of perfectly arrested dynamism.
Electric Art 3D - 'Touring Model' for Toyota
This dark, brooding image is a stunning example of the flexibility and power
of 3D. Several Toyota Camry manufacturer's models were combined in
virtual space to create the all new Toyota Touring body configuration.
Looming in the background like a concrete gargantuan of modern architecture,
this dark, angular environment was also created entirely in 3D to set an edgy
mood for this new performance model. Modeling, texturing and lighting in 3D
allowed for the quick and easy implementation of a reverse angle with all the
hard work already completed.
Stock Photography - 'Eye' for Sony Bravia
Armed with a set of stock images, each landscape in this series of images
promoting Sony's new Bravia television was painstakingly pieced together
and crafted through careful retouching and attention to detail. Electric Art
worked to find a balance between constructing a realistic landscape and
creating a engaging representation of an eye.

New Work at ELECTRIC ART
Electric Art 3D & Andreas Smetana - 'Australia's Next Top Model Spaceship'
The face of the public profile for Australia's Next Top Model, this spacious
spacecraft background was created in 3D, resulting in this eye-catching
modern, clean environment reminiscent of the unique interiors of Space
Odyssey:2001.
Electric Art 3D - 'Disassembled Car' for Dexion
Fenton Stevens had an interesting proposition for a sales brochure on the
dry subject of shelving for the shelving giant Dexion. Rather than just
presenting shelving as is, Fenton Stephens wanted to create a series of
abstract images that would encourage the potential client to think about
how they use shelving and organize space. To do this, they needed images
that presented the objects that would normally live on or in the storage units
floating in a unique "gallery" space.
The challenge was to lock down a point of view and a space that would
accommodate everything from a drill to a car, and light the objects beautifully.
The result is something only possible in 3D, a series of 12 unique images,
beautifully still, suspended in space like an industrial reinterpretation of a
Damien Hirst work.
Electric Art 3D - 'Sculpture' for Dexion
A Second companion brochure for shelving giant Dexion, this time focusing
on the technology behind their products. The challenge, create an impossibly
large scale interior with modern art gallery styling. A series of 6 intricate large
scale sculptures were created in 3D entirely from 3D modeled LCD screens,
robotic arms, cable systems and lasers and carefully posed within a wholely
computer generated environment.
A short animation of the hero sculpture was also created depicting a fly-through
in and around the space.
